Liu Shengshu is the national badminton junior women’s singles champion, a rising superstar trained in Liaoning province. Due to a piriformis injury she could not participate in regular training. She sought out many doctors but her injury stubbornly persisted. Through the referral of Ratchanok Intanon’s coach Xie Zhihua (Thailand), Liaoning province table tennis and badminton center assistant director, Ai Wei, personally brought Liu Shengshu and her coach from Shenyang to see Jim Liu in Liaoyang.
We treated and tested Liu Shengshu simultaneously at our facility. Her pyriformis completely recovered within a short period of time, however we also cured her of back injuries, a femoral head injury, and other old injuries that she had accumulated from the time she began her professional training. Now she can lunge even further than she could before her pyriformis injury and her back and legs are much stronger.
3 months after the treatments have ended, Liu Shengshu’s mother graciously sent to us the 2017 national youth group B badminton Victor’s cup footage as well as award ceremony photos and was pleased to share the news that Liu Shengshu had won the women’s doubles championship and was the women’s singles runner up.
We rescued another rising athlete, we couldn’t be happier.
